I’m thinking of travelling on my own - will I be the only one?

There are lots of people who join solo, we also sometimes have people come with their partner or a friend. On our last retreat about 60% of the group were travelling on their own.

We do have the option for you to have your own room (solo occupancy) if you’re more comfortable having your own space.


How do I get there from the airport?

We have a transfer service that’s included to and from Porto airport.

9th May leaving the Retreat at 1.30pm - to arrive at Porto Airport by 3.30pm

If you’re travelling from a different part of Portugal, you can get the train to Coimbra and arrange a taxi.

Is the Retreat Women Only?

The retreat is focused on covering food and lifestyle recommendations for those who suffer with any of the following: PMS, PMDD, PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, perimenopause. However, those with an interest in holistic health and lifestyle medicine will also gain a lot from the workshops.

Supportive friends and partners are very welcome to join. In short, no, the retreat isn’t always women only. The retreat space is owned by Kate and Pete, so at the very least, we’ve got Pete on site (he is supportive of holistic approaches to health).


Can I Pay with a Payment Plan?

We do provide payment plans, to secure your space we ask that you pay a deposit of £200 and we can organise your follow up payment schedule.


I’ve never done weights before - Is it right for me?

We will be catering to all ability levels. If you’ve never walked into the weights section of the gym, this retreat will be PERFECT for you, as Lisa is incredibly knowledgable and patient and can make sure you learn to lift with great technique.

If you’re a very experienced gym goer, you will be provided with different exercises and if you have a PT program you’re following, outside of scheduled group sessions you can use the gym to train solo.


I have dietary requirements

Please get in touch to chat about your level of allergen, inflammation or intolerance - we can schedule a call to chat through your needs . All the food is prepared in an open kitchen so there could be a degree of cross contamination. We have had previous guests with dietary restrictions that we were able to accommodate.

All food prepared will be gluten free (with the exception of bread available for those who can eat gluten).
